TV celebrity Russell Grant to speak at TLC’s Christmas Gala Lunch

Star of Strictly Come Dancing and Alzheimer’s Research UK Ambassador, Russell Grant, is to speak at the Travel Luncheon Club’s Christmas Celebration on Thursday 6 December 2018 at The Dorchester Hotel, London.

A television presenter, author of 78 bestsellers and the first ever Astrologer Royal, Russell began his show business career as a classically trained actor and launched BBC Breakfast Time with Frank Bough and Selina Scott. He now writes for the Daily and Sunday Express and OK Magazine and appears regularly on BBC and ITV televisions.

A committed supporter of Alzheimer's Research UK as he lost his grandmother to the disease, Russell has raised and donated tens of thousands of pounds to the charity to help find a cure for dementia. He has just launched his own Dementia charity called “Dance For Your Life”.

Russell says: “My dear Nan had Alzheimer's and I have seen how, over an agonising period of time, it gradually robs a family of the person they love. Finding a cure is the only way we will beat the disease.”

Travel Luncheon Club chairman, Bryn Jones, said: “We are delighted that Russell has agreed to attend our event to raise funds for such a worthy cause. Our Christmas Lunch is always a fun event and I am sure that Russell will add some of his undoubted sparkle to the occasion.”

The Christmas lunch will be held at The Dorchester Hotel, London, and will also feature festive singing and entertainment from former X Factor contestant, Lots Holloway:

Tickets cost £89.00 per person which includes a pre-lunch drinks’ (wine, beer or soft drinks) reception. For bookings and further information please contact: by no later than 22 November.
